Anything that goes beyond for girls max 2 earrings and then 2 in the unmentionables. Guys, anything beyond 1 in the left ear, ewwww....
After that, you're just going for shock value and by the way, don't ask "what are you looking at?" when you look like you got locked in a piercing studio for 2 days with nothing to do. Same goes for total body canvas tattoos.

Seriously ... depends on the person. If you have many facial piercings it will affect employment. I have no tattoos, but am thinking about getting a huge tattoo that goes over my back, shoulders, chest, and part of my upper arm. As big as it will be, it wont be visible with a short sleave dress shirt on ... well ... maybe some wing tips on the arms, but not much. Point is, you need the ability to be descrete when needed.

anything more than 1 piercing on the face is too much... After all its YOUR FACE!!! Do you want your face to have 10 holes when you are old and when you got sick of wearing those piercings??
For the ear, i say maxinmum 3 piercings each, if not it gets to crowded and unsightly...

I think ear piercings are lovely. But when people have them in their eyebrows, tongue, nose, septum, nipples, genitals, etc..I think that's too much. Why would anyone want holes all in their body? Most places won't hire people who have a lot of piercings, or they tell them to take the pirecings out or cover them with a band-aid.
I know of several nursing homes and hospitals and fast food restaurants, etc. that made people with piercings take them out or cover them up with a band-aid. Comapny policy.

too much and you look like u have issues-id say to stick with the ears maybe small nose but dont over do it then youll hide urself and people will only see u as ur piercings!

That is totally piercee-specific. It has to be what YOU feel comfortable with and the amount you are happiest about.
I don't think a thing about it, but there are many who aren't into body modification in any way. It all boils down to personal preference.

I always found piercing more than the ears really dirty and unattractive looking.
