Can't help with Filipino locations but Daimler Chrysler do pride themselves on having parts for older models. However there are other sources like "BuyMBparts" in Georgia USA and "MB Spares & Service" in Canberra, Australia. BuyMBparts is one of the "official" suppliers to the MB Club of North America while MB Spares and Service ship internationally. Both of these businesses have websites.

You will need to know the part number or at least an exact description of the thing you need.

The car may have a cable drive for the sunroof. If it is jammed open, look in the luggage compartment, probably on the right of the car and up near the hinge of the lid. A hexagonal nut can be turned with the wheel wrench to move the cable drive. 1983 W126 has this feature.

There are multiple forums on the net about MB cars and you may be able to get exact advice on how to repair the sunroof. You will of course have to find a W124 one and login with a user name and all. But most of them are free.

Do you have access to a MBz Dealer in your area? Or anywhere in the Philippines? Do you have access to a Salvage Yard anywhere in the Philippines? If you have a national phone book, you should be able to find a TELEPHONE No. and the location of a Dealer in Manila, at the very least. I seriously doubt that a dealer would carry sunroof parts, but maybe they would order them for you.

besides the actual incontrovertible fact that the 124 changed into outfitted for numerous years in both gas and Diesel variations, there have been incremental transformations for the period of production. on the different hand, it is not unusual for factors on one Benz kind to change with others. What we may somewhat favor to entice close is what certain factors you're searching for.
