Alright here's your answer. And to Scott Q you are only part right. When Vince bought out WCW from Time Warner, the wrestlers from WCW had the ability to choose if they wanted to jump ship or not. The reason a lot of the bigger names like Goldberg, Steiner, and Flair didn't go over at first is because they wanted to stay loyal. It really was about pride. Of course they eventually did because they needed money (wrestlers can make a lot of money, but not enough to just stop working). Sting, really, is the only wrestler who stayed loyal to the WCW era. Yes he wrestled for the WWF in the early 90's, but he did not make his name until WCW. And he refused to sign with the WWE simply because he didn't want to betray his company and sign with the competition.

No! Of coarse you are all wrong as usual. The reason Sting never was, is not, and NEVER EVER WILL BE in the WWE is because of the story lines. He has said this sooo many times that I am surprised that this topic is still in question. The story lines are way to harsh, nothing like they were in the old WCW Nitro days. This question should be removed, Sting has made his point of not joining the WWE perfectly clear.

Back at the time Vince bought WCW, Sting used good common sense and left so I guess there's where it still is now especially since he also said that he'd never work for Vince!...... yet, I always say, "Never Say "NEVER""!!!!!

nicely seeing how the WCW were treated in the course of the Invasion storyline, Sting changed into smart now to not affix the WWE as he knew Vince might want to probable make him look as if a fool when you consider that he turned right into a huge celeb in WCW and Vince hates WCW.
