It depends on how and when you try to put across your point of view. Sometimes when there are a number of you present your boss might just be faced with having to keep the conversation brief or having to pick whose opinion to listen to because they haven't time for everyone to speak fully.

If you have any burning issues, I would write them down, and if they are problems then also note down your own ideas and suggestions for the solutions. Make sure that you are constructive and that you have taken into account restraints that the company might put on any changes or ideas you suggest taking place.

Ask your manager when is a convenient time to discuss a few ideas or thoughts.

When you sit down with your manager, thank him or her for giving you their time.

Don't make your point of view personal towards your manager. Use language like 'we' and 'us' rather than 'they' and 'you'. That way you come across as a team player and that you are asking for changes for the good of the team and the business.

Most of all, be prepared in case your manager is not able or not willing to take all of your ideas on board and take it gracefully. Thank them for their time afterwards and that way they'll feel positive and be inclined to call on or listen to your opinion in future.

Beacuse like most bosses he/she isn't interested in office bickering/politics!

All they want is for the job to be done and claim the credit for a job well done! If the job isn't done well they have someone to sound off at and blame- YOU!

Office politics will NEVER change - too many people confined into a small place, all with different characters and ethics!

what you shd do is to ask urslf a question whether u are given good view on issues and try to know the kind of boss u work with.

There could be various reasons. Not the right time to speak to. Perception Problem, Lack of interest, Got to protect everybody's interests, inability to take action

memo it and word the memo carefully; always keep a copy. If really important send a copy to his/her boss (though you direct boss might get the hump, if truly professional they will not.)

be careful that means your boss don' t think your opinion worth anything, why don't you just shut up and do your job
