When I blow in my cat's face he gets mad but when I take him out on the balcony and the breeze hits him, he doesn't care. Nature is very relazing to every species. It's where we originate. Maybe I should humble myself and marry a farmer and live the simple life....hmmmmmm

Yes, I have noticed this too! My dogs will do anything to get away from you if you blow in their faces; even snap at you if you're persistant. Maybe they don't like that it is hot (bad?) breath.. or the combination of having your face close to theirs that gives the effect of agression.
I've also noticed the dogs love to swim in lakes, the ocean, etc, but when it comes to having a bath they act like the water in the tub has turned to acid. I guess they've learned that the shampoo and hands that pin them down are coming soon.

Think about it this way:
Most people like to have the wind blow through their hair (think convertibles) but very few people would like a person to come up right to their face and blow in it.
Dogs are the same.

Yep, for most dogs anyway. My dog would much rather make you chase it some four or five blocks for fresh air before having to stick its head out a window.
It must be the hot breathe compared to the cool breeze.

Blowing on a dogs face. means to the dog to go away. Even cats. If you sniff the air. They look guilty too.
