New Jersey is an underated state and has received much bad news from people who only see the state from across the river from NYC.
New Jersey doesn't smell at all!
I recommend that anyone coming to NJ get out and travel around the state.
It has some of the nicest beaches in the Northeast, rugged hills along the Delaware River to the Kittatinny Mountains with thousands of acres of state parks and managed hardwood forests, down to the charming Victorian streets of Cape May to the amusement piers of the Jersey Shore, and the rolling farmland of Hunterdon County, top restaurants, museums, historic sites, theatre and the glitz of Atlantic City, the Garden State has something to satisfy everyone

As a beekeeper, I can say few things compare to the excitement I get every time I put on my beekeeping suit and pick up my equipment and approach the hives. There are certain times when it's better to approach your hives than other times. The ideal time is when most of the bees are out working collecting pollen and nectar, which is typically in the early morning hours.
The keeping of honeybees and beekeeping can be a very rewarding hobby.

There is A LOT more to the Garden State than can be seen & smelt from the NJ Turnpike.
