Am legal immigrant married to us citizen but abused emotionally and mentally .I kindly need assistance with airfare to go home.I dont have money for a lawyer.just want to go home.

Are you SURE you don't want to give staying here a shot? It's much easier to stay here when you're already here than to change your mind later and decide to come back. I'm saying it because I was in a similar situation 15 years ago; my husband brought me to the US, but he was physically abusive (due to some serious mental health issues), and I had to leave with not much else but the clothes on my back. Was going to go back home, but got talked into giving it a try and staying, by a friend of mine who helped me out. Well, I'm still here, it's really not so bad. I went to school, got a degree and a career, and am quite happy with my life; just got re-married recently.
I do not know where one would get $$ for the airfare when one has none. My parents sent me money in the beginning (although they really weren't in the position to do so). Perhaps your family would be able to help. You could also find a roommate, start working and save up some money this way. Perhaps you will get over the initial shock, and decide you want to stay here after all. First and foremost, tho - get away from the abuser. There are shelters for abused women, and hotlines you can call to get more information; get a friend or an acquaintance to help you. Good luck.

Look there should be social services in your area. Talk to them and also there are some churches that may help you. What they will do is they will buy the ticket for you, (they will not give you the money). If you can find a united way agency they may be able to assist you also. These three are probably your best choice with maybe finding a job where you can earn enough money to buy a ticket. I have no idea where you are from but most international airline tickets are between $1000 and up. You may get one cheaper.
