Yes. In my case it is. If you cant see your partner as your bestfriend then theres something wrong there. I know i can tell my husband anything and everything. He's the one who's there for me for everything and always understand me. He feels the same way too.

of course.. marriage means a relation in all of life`s aspects..
you cannot just have sex with a person and the don`t ever talk to him/her again, and that person is your life partner.. i think that it`s very important that first you can communicate to your husband/wife.. because you know.. the passion is for the yourth.. when it dissapears what else is there to do.. and when we are old we have to be friends and respect eachother and listen to the other`s need.. i know i can rely on my husband`s friendship at all cost and he can do that in my case

yes of course you should be able to feel free and comfortable to talk to your husband/wife etc. if you don't have that special friendship how is it going to work out and what will it be if you can't have that. If you don't have a very good Communication then it will be very rocky.

they don't have to be your BEST friend, just a really good friend. that's not to say that you shouldn't be more devoted to them than anyone else, because you should. but let's be honest, you may not be a perfect match in every aspect as with another one of your friends. men are from mars, women are from venus. you'll probably get along better with a friend of the same sex and fight less than with your spouse.
