They haven't targeted Pakistan. Why not? Because Pakistan HAS nukes! Pakistan is also a main partner in the incomprehensible and paradoxical and illogical war on terror.

magime is correct. Pakistan's ISI and the CIA and MI6 work very closely together whilst maintaining independent operations. There's a lot of left hand-right hand going on.

But the ISI was instremental in passing on funding and arms and training for the Mujahadeen in Afhganistan. Those links of brotherhood run deeper than any superficial political loyalty.

The CIA/MI6 created and ran Al-Queda. Parts of Mossad and MI6 still do to this day.

If we didn't create our own terrorists, we could not be sure of finding enough bogeymen to scare our own populations into submission. So we infiltrate, manipulate and create an enemy fit for purpose.

Think about it, if we rounded up all the known terrorists and killed them all in one night, how could the pentagon continue to justify a 400 Billion dollar budget? how could the government defend detention without trial? and warrentless wiretaps and tracking and monitoring all the population? and all the other facist controls currently being inflicted on the American public?

This is 1984! A war without end to the benefit of a few extremists on both sides. A Straussian wet dream.

Problem, Reaction, Solution.

I am really going to tell you something, What US Intelligence?
When they say that I look around and no one has asked me? Have they asked you? Who are these intelligent people? Like we aren't? Who are they kidding? Only themselves, because we are intelligent and we know that is a lie, there may be some there and everywhere, but if they are so intelligent? Why are they not doing something? Because Pakistan does have the Nuclear Weaponry and they have threatened us in our Front Pages of the NY Times about 10 years ago before 911 but they were not going to do it, they just wanted us to back off. First of all it was a women on the front page saying kill all Americans. Look it up in the New York times on the real. But they are not the only ones involved all 21 countries are involved. Sure there are many innocent people there but we are put between a rock and a hard place just like them and it is survival the fittest. So it is no time to sit and say oh poor them, no way buddy , it is our butts, so now it is poor us, or else we are dead. These so-called negative bunch in the White House has to leave and for good and soon we need to get someone in there unbiased that if we go to war has the ability to get us through it in one piece. These morons want to see a process of elimination on population decrease, everywhere dont you think that is the plan by these enormously rich Arabs that have their people sandbagged, please wake up.

Do you mean 'HAVEN'T targeted that country?'

You can bet that there are plenty of US 'advisers' in Pakistan looking for al qeada. The problem is that near the border area with Afghanistan the country is designated as a self governing tribal territory.

Effectively it is a lawless mountainous area where clan loyalty supersedes everything. This is the way it has been here for thousands of years and many different armies have tried to suppress them. Britain made many attempts to conquer what was known as ''The North West Frontier' to no avail.

Also into this mix comes the Pakistani secret services, who during the Afghan war against the soviet invasion in the 1980's made close contacts with al qaeda (prompted by the U.S.). there is quite a lot of suspicion that parts of the Pakistani security services are working against their own government to protect al qaeda.

The Pakistani security services are generally thought to have been involved in the air crash that killed the president of the country several years ago, so its not like the government can just sack them.

Al Qaeda can only thrive in countries that are very religious and more or less neutral rather than allies of the US.

Pakistan is one of several such countries.

It is also a neighbour to Afg & Iran and has nukes, and recently discontinued having elections. US troops & the US-installed puppet govt in Afg have been coming under heavy fire from troops who shelter in NW Pakistan - this is why we need to think about sending troops there / to where their bases are if we are ever to beat them.

But at present, the US strategy is to try to get the Pak govt to fight find & arrest these people as long as they operate from the Pak side of the Afg-Pak border.

Well, the US invented and funded Al Qaeda using Pakistani intelligence (as is generally known) for its false flag operations. As far as Al Queda being based in Pakistan today, well, this may be right. Where did the intelligence come on the 'war on terrror' ? Pakistan. Oh, right !

I get that old familiar feeling of going round in circles on questions like this. Sort of weird ain't it ?

We are basically ignoring Pakistan because their illegal dictator president is obedient to the U.S.

This is giving Al Quaeda a chance to confuse democratic patriotism in Pakistan with extreme Islamic terrorism, and the U.S. looks like we're supporting tyrrany, which we are.

But we're too busy bombing Baghdad to actually go after the people who attacked us. This is because Bush is a tragicaly pure example of an EVIL IDIOTIC IMBECILE ON ACID.

Got the picture?

Do you mean how come they haven't targeted that country? If that is what you meant, the answer is Somalia asked for help. Pakistan doesn't want any help. They say they can take care of the terrorists themselves. So, so far we have left them alone. Also we need good intelligence to target a certain location.

US government is using the media to put more pressure on Pakistan ( an ally ) to be more cooperative.

When will they learn that being the worlds bully does not work. This is what Al-Quaeda feeds on.
