I've played this game a thousand x's now it won't load. I get "Java Virtual Machines running in same process caused an error." What do I need to do to correct this? I have the latest version of Java Thanks

The problem lies somewhere in your security controls. You may have to reconfigure it.

I didn't have much luck looking for this error message. I found one reference on the Sun site to the error "Several Java Virtual Machines running in the same process caused an error". It happens when a Java Applet is allowed to take up too much memory.

You may be able to close some programs to free up the memory you need then try again.

Or, sounds iffey, but you can limit the amount of memory that Applets like Alchemy are allowed to use by going to: Windows Control Panel, Java, Java tab, View (applet) parameters. Then set the Java Runtime Parameter to "-Xmx256M" (without the quotes), to let it use 256 megs of ram. If your computer is an old one and you don't have that much available, try a smaller number like 128 or 64.
