I do not think tickets are cheaper in Japan either, and I do not think Vancouver/Osaka/Vancouver ticket can be issued in Japan.
But at least you can try. HIS ( big Japanese travel agent) has their office in Vancouver, why not ask them.
phone 604-685-3524
and their website here:

first are you certain plane tickets are cheaper in Japan than Canada. I live here in Osaka and I thought we had the most expensive tickets I've ever come across. If you are sure take a look at Kansai Scene's web site and try some of the agents there. Be warned that usually the advertised price is the lowest possible and is usually only available for 2 or 3 tickets, if you're lucky you might get a good deal. Why not go across the border and fly from the States I'm pretty sure you can get a better deal there than here. Good Luck and enjoy Osaka.

You would need to find a travel agent in Japan to do it for you. They're not likely to do it though, to buy a ticket to and from your country is not the norm. It's usually from and back to. It may be possible, but after the hassle, the phone call charges, the cost to mail your your tickets (insured, so they don't get lost), you might not end up saving much.
You could try booking a one-way ticket to Osaka (sometimes they are cheaper) and then get a one-way back for a cheaper price. Just a thought.

I doubt you're going to get a cheaper price by buying a ticket from a Japanese-based organization. To be honest, I'd just buy a round-trip ticket to Osaka from a North American-based company (like Expedia) and just not use your return ticket. Those are often cheaper than one-ways.

You can do it but only if you can read Japanese or know someone who does and buy it over the internet through the airline's website. But if you do that it'll be charged on your credit card in yen and then you'll get hit with the currency adjustment fee (the fee banks charge for converting currencies to your home country's currency).
You're probably better off searching the internet for a deals. Or contacting a local Japanese travel agency since they often have seats reserved for them at discount prices.

You could buy tickets online from a Japanese Travel agency or the airline company. If you say it is cheaper than you have visited a few sites of that sort.
Good luck.

You could buy a cheap US ticket and then take the bus to Sea-Tac. You would at least save GST that way. From SEA to KIX on NWA should be reasonable. The bus leaves from near GM Place and goes directly to Sea-Tac.

Look on the internet for Japanese companies such as H.I.S. I hope you have a credit card. That is probably the only way possible.
