Take night classes at an adult learning center, or just do it old school and read up on stuff.

The single most important way a person can improve their learning skills is by "reading". Reading puts us in contact with more ideas and pieces of information than any other type of communication. Also, keep a dictionary with you at all times and if you come across a word that you don't understand look it up and then read the sentence where the word you are looking up belongs. This will give you the best learning possible as well as complete understanding of the word you are looking up. Good luck on a bright new future!

To be interested in what You are learning. I also find that I'll forget one thing, but if it's two or more things I am more likely to remember without forgetting any. Don't try and learn thing when you are tired or influenced by harsh chemicals that is not required/made in/by your own body. Good nutrition, proteins, as mircotubles found in the neurons are strains of proteins where information is said to be stored. And stay away from the alcohol, it's make your brain shrink

first of all, u should know his/her learning attitude so that u may know his/her preferance of learning. some people prefer to learn by themselves, other with the assist of a group. some people can understand well with the help of technologies others with a one on one guidance. after u figure out ur learning style / attitude, surf the net to get the proper learning skills that matches that the learning style of a person. there's tonnes of learning skills that can be obtain thru the net, such as mastery learning etc.

Reading trains your mind to interpret information and improve storage of information and retrival. If you want, you could always learn how to meditate, a practice which trains your concentration.
