it takes a college degree to fly a plane, BUT just a high school diploma to repair them..feel better the next time your flying ?

I agree with NOLO and would you be willing to pay the price it would take to pay for every mechanic working on planes to be college educated. The people working on those planes may not have a college education but they know their job and have many checks to be sure they are doing them properly. Does your car mechanic have a degree in auto repair?

Its not that big of a deal. Its a LOT more easier to repair a plane than to fly one. You don't need to know physics to repair a plane. Stop being so ignorant.

See, I knew there was a great reason I was afraid of flying. I never will fly anywhere, My family will fly somewhere and me and my cousin will drive or not go.

I had a friend (who happened to have a degree) who was an aeronautics engineer for for McDonnell Douglas (Sp?)..they used to say "If it ain't Boeing, I ain't going". Now these SAME employees, that made fun of their own abilities, work for Boeing.. NOW for sure you must feel better about the safety of your plane.

I don't fly in airplanes, they scare me. If I want to fly, I'll use my broom, if it breaks, I'll get a new one, see, no repair bill.
That is interesting to know tho. Now I know I will never get in another one. lol⥠â¥â«
