I'm not racist and believe should be treated with respect. America even with all its problems is still the best country is it not. Would you honestly rather have been left in Africa. Look at the state of that continent and what happens when there is no white person to blame for your troubles. The only country that is some what inhabitable is South Africa, and guess what white people had a huge hand in making it that way. Would you honestly wish not to deal with Whites?

To start the question with "I'm not a racist" and then state "would you honestly rather have been left in Africa" is in itself 'racist'. I am white and am embarrassed that you are also with statements like this!
Alot of black people don't actually come from Africa as such, they come from Bahamas, Jamaica, South America, West Indies etc.
Maybe if you don't like people complaining here in America about racism you could move to your ancestor's country (perhaps England, Ireland, Scotland, Holland, Italy...you know a country that most 'white' people came from in the first place. Unless your a native American perhaps?

Well yes I would have rather been left in Africa, not today's Africa because its been raped and destroyed by whites, arabs and other Africans. I would rather be left in the Africa before Europeans crawled out of their caves and colonized the whole world. That was a different Africa indeed.

If it was not for Europeans and Arabs raping Africa of all of its resources Africa would be a wonderful place today. It is where everything started. White folks have a lot of nerve to say haw bad it is in Africa when they are the ones who destroyed it. If we could get rid of all the European and Persian rule out of Africa now I would move there today! I may move there anyway!!!!!

But, see, you ARE racist, though you may not realize it.
Singling one race out and criticizing them is racism. Making comments such as "your [black people's] troubles" and "white people had a huge hand in making it that way" is racist.
A better way to ask the question would have been, "Do African-Americans believe that they are better off in America or would they prefer to have been left in Africa?"

i am an AFRICAN and am insulted by your insinuation that my continent is inhabitable. i have just been to the coast of my country and witnessed jet loads of white tourists enjoying the perfect weather,safari and hospitality.a gerat number of westerners are settling here and expertriates wish they could stay on forever.you mentioned south africa as habitable and gave credit to the whites. it seems you have a very short memory because apertheid and the murderous regimes of the whites almost decimated black leadership there.only after MANDELA came to power did sanity prevail.contrary to what you watch on your narrow minded media,there's a lot of good things here.your society is not exempt from issues because children are being raised fatherles,divorce is at an all time high,suicide and homicide is normal,social confusion manifest in abortion and gay dudes,moral collapse,mindless laws on raising kids,depression and obesity. china is overtaking your economy as you kill children in their mothers womb in iraq.americas domestic debt is mind boggling since roe vs wade.wake up and smell the coffee.that fact that you are clothed and fed doesnt mean you are any better.you are rotting from within and its just a matter of time.

This is not the situation. Blacks and whites in South African, had a past of hate and destruction,and it come from both sides. When Mandela came into power , he started to minimize the conflick. Yes there is still conflick between them, but most of the younger generation, whites and blacks,have become good friends.

Well why are you complaining dude....this is not our land either we killed innocent Indians for this land. White people did not bring African Americans over. Africans sold there own people to rich white man for $. The only thing we did was drive the darn boat. Different cultures would of came over anyways and they did that's why we are the UNITED states.

Do you seriously believe that someone would rather be taken from their land, their family, everything they know....then beaten, enslaved, and destroyed....just to be here in this damn country. 400 years of the enslavement of my people is NOT worth being in this country today....where I am STILL discriminated against. You're mistaken, many countries in Africa are habitable, and part of the reason why it is so torn is simply due to "the white man." I would love to live there, but it's not that simple.

I don't blame "The White Man" or anyone for anything that goes wrong in my life. I can accept my wrong doings and failures...Unlike some people! (You being one of them) "I" worked for all of my accomplishment! I put myself where I am today. I''m Doing quite well...Thank you very much!
