Don't listen to anyone on this. Do your own due diligence through proper R&D (research and development). Here are some books you can purchase new or used to assist you in selecting the business that will work for you. Remember you need to select a business that is fun to do and that doesn't seem like it is work. It should be something you would do for free. Good luck!

It would depend on your location and demographics. If I told you that a bead store would be a good small business but you already have 4 in the location you live then it's not a good business risk.

Do some research. Find out what's missing in your area and what people want. Unless you are opening a business because you are passionate about the merchandise or service, then it wouldn't make sense to do it blindly.

Ask yourself these questions: Why would anyone walk into my store and spend their money here versus somewhere else? What's in it for them? Does the business purpose have staying power?

Good luck

food production? Perhaps, if you have a backyard and you want to grow vegetables, but I don't think you will be making too much of a profit. in fact, you will probably starve to death.

Try working a pyramid scheme.
