since i was like 5 i rely on him a lot, and he's the person who understand me the most, and he's my closest friend, closest family member, closest. not long ago i found out that i have sort of a strange feeling, i consider him more than like an uncle. I don't want to marry him or something, i just suddently feel that i like him so much. Should i keep it for myself, like continue or should i better forget about it?

Your confusing love with infatuation...he has been good to you as an uncle and friend, it's normal to think you are in love with someone who has been there for you but in reality, he is your uncle, and I am sure he sees himself as your uncle, so just let it go, don't say anything and someday you will see how you thought you were in love with him. It's a shame you don't tell us whether he's from your father's side or your mother's side. If he's your father's brother, then you can forget it completely! Because there's genetic issues involved. However, if he's your mother's brother...
Forget what all the others are saying, I say go for it! You can't control your feelings. No one can. You can't choose who you fall in love with. No one can.
Just be prepared. There are risks here (as in with any man). He might not have the same feelings towards you or afraid because of this family relationship that he might reject you. Then your relationship would not be the same again. He would very likely drift away from you.
If you think you can take this, then tell him. If he has the same feelings and not afraid to see where the relationship is going, then go for it. I'm not saying you guys would be perfect and will get married. No one knows until they explore the possibilities. But it could happen and it's okay... as long as (I remind you once again) he's from your mother's side and there's no direct blood relation between you.
Follow your heart. You never know until you try.

Forget about it. That is your family. Those feelings come from the trust and confidence you have on him but don't fail to see the difference between family nurturing and boyfriend type love. You get those feelings because he is a special person in your life that has done a lot for you as a family member not as a potential lover. Be thankful he has been there but don't ruin it by thinking that way about him. Incest will not go well with anyone.

Going on Jerry Springer is not a solution. In my opinion 95% of the people who go there are sick. All Jerry Springer will do is try to entertain the crowd with your story by making fun of it.
You should simply forget about it. An uncle is out of question to desire Find a boyfriend on who you should concentrate your feelings on instead. That should work better.

Love is such a powerful and confusing emotion. Sometimes it is hard to tell the difference between being in love and just plain love.
Continue loving your uncle I am sure he loves you just as much.The wonderful thing about family is that you can love them with all your heart and soul without any of the drama involved with being in love with someone. You will never have to worry about him betraying you or leaving you.
You say that you love him more than an uncle...I think that's because he is also such a close friend.

If you believe you can control your feelings then it is fine.
It depends on the degree of your feeling towards him.
I hope it is now in the first stage then it is not so bad. Here is what you should do:
Start immediately not to let your feeling get carried away by limiting the time you'll be with him.
Keep in mind he is your uncle and that is all it can be.
You should try to spend more time with your friends. That is to take your mind off him.

I am hoping that what you mean is that he feels closer than an uncle, and you are thinking he feels more like a father. Is that right? If so, then let him know how you feel. It would make him feel appreciated to know that you think of him as more of a father than an uncle.
If you mean you are "in love" with him and want to do something physical, then you need to forget about that and start seeing a therapist. That is not healthy.

I would have to say forgt about it . I don't think it would be good to tell him eithe it might make your guesses relationship change or he might distance himslef . I hope you haven't had sexual feelings for him . If so I would seek couciling but do it secretly . I am sorry ppl are kinda being rude in there anwsers .
