Getting through to the call centre is atrocious...they just cannot understand, or help you. I've been told its a prob on the exchange, and that they have escalated it to BT who are working on it right now. Its a local prob in Manchester. I can't leave as I may have the prob with another provider, but what else can I do. Complaints don't work either.

Firstly, when you ring up, would not ask to speak to a superviser, this has no point, the problem your having, if it's with BT then Orange would not be able to resolve.
As Orange changed the opening hours from 1st November, I would suggest trying to get through between 8pm - 10pm this seems to be the quietest time.
If you want to give me your number (not on here) will pass onto someone I know who work for Orange BB and ask him to find out what the problem is!!

the staff in the call centre are crap,my man has recently asked to up his download speed and has been having problems with it cutting the internet connection off.1st guy he spoke to was indian and the guy could'nt understand my hubby so he put him through to someone else that told him to adjust the settings on the pc which did'nt work. The 3rd time he phoned up the guy told him that the engineers were continuously testing the line to see what speed we could get, could they not have told us that in the first place????The next time you phone up,ask to speak to a supervisor.Good luck
