This was proven on the Dicovery Channel and now that I think about it it's true.

All I know is that when I was young I didn't like to read and hardly ever did. I also had great eyesight then. When I went to college, I chose a major that required me to read a lot. My eyesight declined in college and I was forced to get glasses. I honestly think that many hours of reading can strain your eyes and over time can harm your vision. So maybe people with glasses are more likely to read a lot, and people who read a lot are more likely to be smart.

A person that can see well, may not nessasarily be "smarter" than a person that can't see, (look at the genius of Stevie Wonder), but usually, if a person can see better, he/she can learn more, and probably would read to be informed more than the average person that can't see as well.

Because we can see the hole picture and see it clearly can everything for what it is instead of what guess it is or what we want it to be thats why

probably because they are less occupied with their looks, and get down to the facts.
