Western Michigan Cheerleaders?

Question

Does anyone know where to get info on the current cheerleading team at Western Michigan?The web page has not been updated in at least a year and even then it told us no info or gave us any recent pics. Does anyone know if the current coach is leaving after ths year? We heard she was, if so any info on the new incoming coach?

No on all counts---BUT
have a great idea for you--why not try an old tried and true method that still works quite well in these situations
----CALL THEM---
For the fairly inexpensive charge of probably no more than two
long distance calls-- you are probably going to get all of your questions answered--probably by the main hooha's themselves !!

Call the main number for Western Michigan and the operator there possibly can connect you DIRECTLY to the arheletic department---there someone will be able to at least tell you of the direct number or person dealing with such matters---and like I said---in maybe no more than the cost of a couple of calls -- you can be actually talking TO the people who know all this stuff first hand !!!
It still amazes me that in this day of computer background checks and the Google up everything---people have somehow abandoned the old tried and true methods that still work (sometimes far better than the internet) !!! Can't tell you how many times that this has been the case for myself, personally----Work like a madman to come up with stuff by way of the old machine--- only to find that with one or two phone calls-- I'm talking to the SOURCE themselves without all the hyperlink runaround involved and all the impersonal --- check this out and link to this and that etc etc etc !!!!!

I looked at wmubroncos.com and it appeared to be up to date info on everything but the cheerleaders! Go figure! When I plugged cheer coach into the search, I got the following

Tracy Derhammer is entering her fifth year as the cheerleading coach, having started in 2002. Derhammer coached high school cheerleading 11 years before becoming the head coach at WMU, six of those years at Portage Central High School.

She coached the 1999 Class A State Finalists and conference champions 2001 and 2002. She was named Competitve Cheer Coaches Association Regional Coach of the Year in 2000 and 2002.

Derhammer is a member of American Association of Cheer Coaches and Advisors (AACCA).

She graduated from WMU in 1992 with a bachelor's of science in sociology/English. Derhammer earned a bachelor's of arts in 2004 in secondary education/English/communications.

Tracy recently married Brian Derhammer. She also has two chidren, Shelby and Delaney
