1. Rednecks are excellent at partying.
2. Drunk rednecks (oxymoronic idea) are more easily persuaded to "Try THIS!"
3. Trailer door locks aren't very high quality, making rednecks easier prey.
4. The weather is usually warmer where rednecks life. Aliens don't have to worry about scraping ice off the saucer.

The funny thing is that a friend of mine and I have actually debated this question in detail. *lol* We determined that if aliens have been observing us, they know that drunken redneck trailer trash will be the least likely to be believed, and they can continue to conduct their experiments with no trouble.

If only (a) that were true, and (b) the aliens kept them, the rest of us would be a lot better off.
Unfortunately, if you read the literature on alien abduction, you would find that those who claim to be abducted come from a wide variety of backgrounds, and only a small minority are drunkards or drug users.
