Time and Youth are things people can not get back with exploitation, money, or connections.
So to those that their youth is important, they make a big friggin deal about it.
As for the mass media focusing on youth, it does seem that young women's "best" ages seem to be from about 18 to 24, although this is horse crap, for the most part, as there are many gorgeous women twice that age.

I think it is but for a very good reason. There is huge population of young people. For instance if you take a commercial point of view it will make a lot of sense to focus it in the young people since they will be your clients. Educationally speaking, the youth is the future so the better prepared we are the better future we can build.

Yes, I would have to say that when we have sixty year old women getting facelifts to look thirty.
Twenty year olds getting Botox.
Yeah. Incredibly youth centered.

Yes! I think it is. I'm 16 and I feel like everything is directed at our age group. It's kind of annoying, actually.
