hi i am a divorcee 26 female and now would like to adopt a boy can u please tell are there any rules to adopt. i want to know if a divorcee can adopt without having a partner

Adopt an older child because newborns have enough people wanting them and the older ones need you the most. Yes, you can do it.

The rules and policies are very different between countries and states/provinces. Many have the natural mother involved in selecting adoptive parents, and unfortunately they would not likely select you. There are far more people on lists, waiting to adopt babies than there are babies. Chances are slim. Sorry.

I can tell you that in my state, single parents can get guardianship, which I received this past year, and I have single mom friends that are foster parents. In my state as long as you can support that child and your a good parent, then you should be okay with adopting. Good Luck.

the only major thing to be considered is your record as a parent if you have ever been one and your own lifestyle in general
