A body shop painted my mustang using SILVER paint for a 2005 Maserati . They are unable to find the paint code. any idea's where I can locate or obtain this code??

Now that is good question, I would try the PPG web site

this should take you to there auto color page, from there not sure what you want to do.
Maserati is a product of Chrysler and mustang is a ford you could call a certified shop and get the numbers

the paint code is on the door. I had to bring my car to a paint store to get it matched because the paint faded there pretty good at matching

On nearly all cars, there is a plaque riveted to the fire wall behind the engine with all relevant info.

It won't say "candy apple red", but like you guessed, it will be in a sequence of numbers, or a set of numbers all it's own.

a Maserati dealer near you. most Maserati/ Ferarri dealers will have this information for you. Ferarri owns Maserati (fyi) there service department will be glad to help you.
