As rumours go, this one is INCREDIBLY HOT!!!

Question is -- Would Bush be so arrogant to declare ANOTHER ILLEGAL WAR, and this time without consent of Congress?

He needs his Iraqi battalions battle hardened when he declares emergency powers in 2008.

The President does not have the constitutional authority to declare war, only Congress can do that. And, despite conspiracy rumors to the contrary, it is not possible for Congress to amend the Constitution without the States having a say so, which means the people have a say so. Trust me, if Congress had decided to just throw the Constitution away we would all have known by now -- the fact that you were able to ask the question should be proof enough that your rights are still intact, since you could be executed in some countries for even suggesting such a thing.

No, I'm no fan of bush and I'm not attempting to stand up for him,but that article is speculation based on Bush's remarks in his speech on Wednesday night referring to Syria and Iran. I dislike when speculation is directed towards the Democrats and eventually parsed into lies. This is what will happen with this story too, it'll get told again and again until the questions will be sworn to as being facts. We have enough real problems in this country, we don't have to invent any new ones.

Not at all! He declared open war against Islam and the Quran and Muslims since September 2001 and he thought he won the war but he has only just been made to realise that it aint over till its over.

I highly doubt it. Also there is no way to Constitutionally declare a "secret war." If this rumor is true, which I highly doubt, this would be beyond a shadow of a doubt grounds for impeachment and removal from office.

Secret?
Where have you been? Did he not say years ago, we'd chase terrorism all over the world? Did you here about the Somalia bombings. Why do you have to declare war? What do we have in the Persian Gulf?

Does anyone else think this sounds like when we invaded Cambodia during the Vietnam War?

Hell, even Senator Chuck Hagel, a REPUBLICAN is picking up on that!

That wouldn't surprise me a little bit, idiots are always like that, but his chance is getting over. Remember that Iraq is too little to start to spread out his business, he needs more places in the Middle East to execute his business with his rich partners.

I sure hope so. I have been waiting since 1979 (before I even lived in the USA) to see America pay Iran back for the Hostage Crisis. It is in that hope that I voted for Bush in 2004. In 2000 I was still a soft headed democrat.

I thought he did that 3 years ago but it wasn't a secret then.

I doubt that he would get away with it now.
