I have to agree that they are the best team in the NFC. I can't wait to see them play a team like the Chargers or Ravens. In the New ENgland game during the 3 game east coast trip thought even though they had some poor execution they should have won that game minus a turnover. In scanning the other answers in this question I am amazed at some of the morons with no football knowledge. In particular some people saying that because the Bears lost to Green Bay the last game of the season. Rather comical since it meant absolutely nothing to a team that had locked up its playoff run almost a month ago. They did not even play there starters the whole 2nd half. Or that an overachieving team like the eagles or saints are better in the NFC. Or the Rex haters...he is very inconsistent the 2nd half. He won NFL offensive player of month in September. He has the most 100 plus passer ratings in the NFC this year and 2nd only to manning in the whole league. SO he definitely has the talent and potential...keep in mind this was his first season with teams game planning specifically for him. An intelligent argument would be that since T. Harris and M. Brown are missing there defense can be exposed....but then you would have intelligence bashing the bears...and who wants that. My pick Bears 22 Colts 21

I believe that the San Diego Chargers are in the same class as the Chicago Bears and right now If the two played I would pick the Chargers because they have a more reliable QB, A hall of fame running back and a pretty good defense.
I am a Chicago guy but gotta love LADAINIAN TOMLINSON!
Bears beat the seahawks though 31-21.
In the next round bears will play the eagles and the bears will beat the eagles in a squeaker.
I think the Chargers will play the bears in the super bowl with the chargers a slight favorite in that game.

Actually, no. If they are the best team in the NFL, and no team is close, then the Bears will win the Super Bowl unchallenged. You watch, if the Bears win, alright, I agree with you--the Bears would be the best team in the NFL. But if they don't win, that would mean there is another team out there that can beat them. We'll watch.....and wait. Because personally, I don't believe the Chicago Bears are the best team in the NFL.

Whoa there! I think the Bears might be able to beat the Seahawks this weekend, but they'll have a tough go against Philly or New Orleans. Sure, they could make it to the Super Bowl, but I wouldn't bet on them to win against any of the four AFC teams. Rex Grossman is a shaky QB at best. I'll take New England's, Baltimore's, and San Diego's Ds to smash up Chicago's offense, and all of their offenses to outmatch Chicago's D in the grand finale.

In the NFC, I still like the Eagles to go to Miami this year, but if Chicago does, there won't be any positive sequel to the 1985-86 team.

is this a question or Bears Fan Wet Dream

Ya'll aint even the best team in the NFC the eagles are better than ya'll . And if the Seahawks weren't so badly injured they just might beat ya'll also. The Saints are 10 times better on Offense than ya'll

The AFC remaining four teams are all better than the bears
Chargers,Ravens,Colts and New england would run circles around the Da BEARS DUDE!!!

Ok so ya I might be from Chicago but I will say our defense IS a force to be reckoned with. If sexy rexy can pull his head out of his own butt and play without having to threaten the position of quarterback over his head, so he'll play like we all know that he can, then we are unstoppable. With Benson and Hester behind a functioning Grossman, Urlacher and Briggs on defense, and a special team like none other... the Bears have finally earned the respect that they had 20 years ago.

Yeah,. which is why the Packers beat the ever living **** out of them in the NFL's finaly. Why the Dolphins and Packers exposed there weakness by attacking your POS QB who has too many bad habits, and thus shut down your offense and totally annhilited you. Plus the Packers killed the Bears at home.

Why they almost lost to laughable Arizona earlier in the year, and would have if an inadimate object was coaching the cards instead of that incomitent green who through the game away.

Even if the Bears defense manages to save them in the first round,... they will either lose in the Championship or get murdered in the super bowl to an afc team who shows you what happens when you have both an offense and a defense.

Remember what Green Bay did to the Bears in Week 17? Remember Grossman's quarterback rating? It will be a short postseason for Da Bums!

How can you say that when they have such an unreliable quarterback? Frankly, The Bears are not in the same class as any team left in the AFC, but neither are the other NFC teams.
