I always put the seat AND the cover down when I'm done. Don't want trace fecal matter flying into the air and landing on things like my toothbrush that might get in my bloodstream when I'm brushing.

Its a whole lot better than them peeing all over the seat. You should learn to always check the seat or you could end up sitting in pee or worse, toilet water.
You have to deal with that, because we have to see your feminine hygene stuff and just know what's going on.

I tell my son all the time to put the seat down, and have come to the conclusion that it isn't important to them. It is either that or they are self centered and could care less if it bothers us. Or the last thought would be they enjoy pi**ing us off. Sorry for blowing up on your question but I had to tell the truth.

You should just be happy if they put it up when going to the bathroom to begin with. The other option is to have a warm and wet seat.

Why don't women put it up? Why should we? A lot of guys just piss on the seat. It makes sense that the seat stay up. What if a man pisses on a seat and does not wipe it and a women sat down right in his piss. Thats wrong. I say seat up for womens sake.

because we can Urinate standing up, and it's a nucessance to put that seat down when you don't have to!!!!...also have you ever noticed that there more aiming room in the bowl when the seat is up......you have to remeber if we get some on the seat we have to clean it up............... and that's extra (time) work (and you know how us men hate wasting time in the bathroom!!!!) !!!!!!!!!!! when all you girl have to do is look before you leap and let Gravity to the work for you!!!!!!!!!

I put it down by habit! If I didn't put it down my Mother would smack me! And, she still smacks me if she comes to my house and finds the toilet seat up - so I put it down! If nothing else, I am a good son!
