I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but I assume you mean unofficially geographically.

Northwest - Cool and rainy mostly. It is sunny and warm in the summer, and part of the winter can be cold (especially now), but it's mostly rain. Occasional snow, but not often.

Southwest - hot and sunny. Usually very dry. Earthquakes can be frequent in certain parts of this area.

Midwest (Upper and Lower) - Tornadoes frequent this area, commonly known as "America's heartland". Can be warm or cold, depending on the season.

Northeast - Cool, sometimes rainy, sometimes dry. Snow usually frequents this area in the winter (except this one). Can be warm in the summer. Basically, Northwest, but not as wet.

Southwest - Hurricanes can often hit parts of this area. Very warm, some rain (especially during hurricane season). Sunny.
