Lane Davies is a televison and Shakespearian actor not from the group Player. In 1993, he filled for Ronn Moss as Ridge Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful as temporary replacement while Moss was on leave.
Ronn Moss is however from the group Player. Moss grew up in the rock & roll music field, where at age 11, he started learning to play the drums, guitar and electric bass. In 1976, bassist Moss joined creative forces with singer/guitarist Peter Beckett, guitarist/keyboardist J.C Crowley and drummer John Friesen to form the musical group Player.

Shazzam, you are absolutely right....give this questioner a Kewpie Doll....that's one on me...the actor's name is Ronn Moss (no relation to Randy Moss)...I've seen a picture of the group and my future-ex-wife watches "The Bold and the Beautiful," but I never made the connection.
