I just found out that I am pregnant (w/home pregnancy test). I am still on vacation and will be going home in two days to see my dr. It was not a plan pregnancy. And I consumed alcohol during the past two weeks. I believe I could be about a month and half pregnant. What do you guys think? What should I do?

Don't stress about the alcohol you have drunk. Many many women drink before they realise they are pregnant. Just stop drinking now. Your baby will be fine.

There is no definite answer on how much alcohol it takes for a child to come up with fetal alcohol syndrome.

I can say though that I knew I was in your situation when I found out I was pregnant. He is now six years old and no symptoms ever!!!

I think you should be fine, I know a few other friends that were worried about this as well. I don't think it's a serious issue at least until excessive usage. Though I would not advise continuing to drink, which I'm sure you won't!!!

Congratulations!!!!

Don't worry about it now. Just stop drinking that is all. Between weeks 6 & 10 is when the baby is developing all of its important organs ect. So as long as you stop now and don't consume any more you and baby should be fine. I am now 16 weeks and drank my first 6 weeks. I did not know i was untill I did a test.

Good luck and Congrats!!!

dont worry about it at all, but hopefully you werent constantly trashed for the past two weeks. there is nothing you can do about it now, and many women end up in the same situation not realizing they are pregnant. i drank and smoked pot a few times in the beginning of my first pregnancy before i knew, and my son is now 2, perfectly healthy, and very intelligent. let your doctor know about it though, because if your drinking was excessive during those two week he may want to check out the baby. but don't stress! just take good care of yourself and your baby throughout the rest of your pregnancy. thats all you can do!

Quit drinking.

That's all you can do.

Unless you've somehow devised a machine that can take you back in time to undo the drinking you've done while pregnant.
