a big question here.how can all sex offenders be put in the same
catagories? my best friend who is 19 and was dating a girl that was 15 but she looks like she is 23 yrs old, anyway her mother didn't care if she dated him. but the police here found out that she was dating him and going to his apartment with her mothers approval.and they arrested him and he got sentenced 4 yrs for this
the mother or his girl friend begged the police to let him go.they didn't press charges on him but the state did,[s.c.] they put all sex offenders under the same catagorys.the same as the ones who murder, rape, and kidnap children..they treat all of them the same
so now there are so many sex offenders, the ones they should be watching that molest little child and kidnap rape and murder them
they can't because they have put all these people in the same catagory.people who date some one because they are 4 yrs younger than they are ....should not be listed as a sex offender.
its wrong what u think?

more details, yes theres more to it. this girl was no virgin by no means.the reason the police pressed charges was her mother was selling drugs for this police officer and some drugs came up missing, the mother told the police officer that the only people that was in her apartment was her daughter and her daughters boy friend so the policeman got mad and got a warrant on the her boy friend.because he thought he took his drugs.and to the mother who said if it was her 15 yr old daughter, listen . show me a 15 yr old virgin these days.and I will show you a big lier.any way I'm just saying he shouldn't be under same cat/as a child molester.by doing this they can't watch the one they should be watching over 10,000 in the state here.what about your state.why didn't they charge the mother for her approvel of this.she was just as guilty.after he was in jail she lived with a 22 yr old black guy.and nothing was done.[ thats anderson s.c. for you.]

I agree with you young lady. Not all sex offenders are the same yet they are treated the same. One thing to consider is the many different categories for a person who takes a life...something which is irreplaceable. Imagine a person who is unable to find a public restroom, and urinates at a park, behind some bushes...but is caught by the police or some 'Mrs. Kravitz' busy-body--that person is also considered a sex offender. How about someone who is accused, without any proof against him or her...and even passes a polygraph test. The accusers, the police, and prosecutors (representing the people--though the actual people would probably investigate the facts) conspire to do the worst to the accused. It is disgusting the way our justice system performs so unjustly.

after reading your letter, and then reading the answers you got
its really a shame that some people don't realize what you are saying, I'm really wondering did they even read what you wrote.
the law does need to be put in catagories, its so true that in todays time. the dangers of this that the real sexual preditors that
stalk children rape and murder .they have all these people the ones that have dates someone young than 18 or has been caught urinating in a public places these a big different .to justme his answer was nothing else needs to be said that he belongs on the list. and to diki doo saying sex offenders should he hung get rid of the scrum...thats real cute.....maybe you two belong on the list go read the list....this list is unreal.it not all about having sex...
oh and by the way if thats true having sex with someone because they are young than you our first president george washington, his wife martha was 14 yrs old when they were married.. the list goes on and on . i bet your grandfather or your greatgrandfather
was married to some one that was under age when they married.
think about it.did they need to be hung and was your grandfather
scrum...well i think they should change it put them in the catagory
they belong in... my state has 22 ,000 sex offenders .just because they have them in the same catagory as the one who has raped and murdered.its true now the real predators can't be watched , think about your children now. how can they be safe.
they can't, the real predators can't be watched now.

Does not matter how old she looks, the fact remains she is 15. The guy had to be aware of the law, he has no business taking a 15 year old to his apartment. I feel sorry for her because she has a mother that is an idiot. No way would I put my blessings on my 15 yr old daughter going to this guys apartment.
Should there be different categories for sex offender's? Probally so.

What the hell is a 19 year old doing with a 15 year old. Its not healthy and is wrong. He is out of high school and living life, why is he casing the high school looking for a companionship...I think he should be a sex offender, if my daughter was dating a 19 year old when she was 15 not only would I press charges but I would break his legs....and before you pass judgment I have 4 kids all lie with me.

Well I agree with the young woman, She never did say that the guy knew how old she was and to be honest just in case you didn't know, young girls lie about their age all the time and now days some of these girls look the age they lie and say they are. You can't honestly tell me that you card every female that you go out with. Further more, the girl probably came clean about the lie to her mother and told her it wasn't his fault and the mother sympathized more with the young man because it was her daughters fought that he was in this situation.

Dating and sex are NOT the same thing...according to the law...There was something else going on here as the police do not just happen to arrest some random guy that they see with some random girl...what is the "rest of the story?"

He had sex with a minor and should have known better. Nothing more need to be said, except, yes, he belongs on the list.

Sex offender might be under one law
but each person that has got the title
also carries the record for the crime
and what it was.
