Honestly, I do believe that some of the people in the justice system are manipulating things for their own benefit. I interviewed several inmates at the county jail here...I heard many stories. There was a man who had no money when the case started, and he was going to get a lot of time. After his mother sold her house, she had some money for him...the public defender, the prosecutor, and the judge were considering making a different and better offer to him for a measly $10K. Now he may only get 10 years...it is still a lot, but not as much as before he had the money. He was originally threatned with 30 years.
Another individual was offered 8 years for his charges which were only worth 3 years...when his father raised some money for an attorney who was a former DA prosecutor...the charges were eventually reduced, and he was released for time served, after only serving 5 months in the jail.

You betcha...people don't count, money does. Our wonderful country ain't so wonderful any more. The people are not informed and are so brainwashed they wouldn't know how to fix it anyway. The media is a joke...it is informative but can be manipulated and controled away from reality. Years ago if you would walk up to someone and say, "It won't be long now", they would not know what you are talking about. You can say that to almost anyone now and they will know that according to scripture prophecy we are in the final days of earth's history. Mmm

Probably, with the exception of Supreme Court Judges, they are all on the take. They are all on salary, but part of the Court costs goes to the Judges retirement, part to the Prosecuting Attorney, and part to the Public Defender, even though he does not have to be on the case. Is that on the take or not?
