Everytime they come out smelling bad start scrubbing them with a dirty toilet brush.. my procedure may lean more towards negative reinforcement but it's more fun.

I agree with giving them positive reinforcement.
Also once I had a smelly co worker and every once in a while when they were near me,I would say "Eew, something smells like BO in here. Do you smell that?" I said it as if I was just making small talk. And after about three times this person figured out it was them that stunk,and they started showering and using deoderant.

find an occasion to give the person a little gift of a skin care/bath items. something that you like and would use then indicate you like it and thought they might like it too. the person may not realize how they smell. they are used to it. they might even have a medical condition that causes it so you dont want to hurt them by being blunt. some people have just left a nice brief annonymous note where only they would see it. but it would be nicer to give the gift. once they try the items they may realize the difference.

OOooooo i know how you feel.. I have a co worker like that and i purchased a gift set with gels and deodorant in it..I told him that my husband couldn't wear it because it made him sneeze and i hated to toss it so.. and add you LOVE the way the fragrance smells and ask them if they want it since you work so close maybe they would like to enjoy the scent too.. or just give them the gift and say i thought of you when i seen this today..enjoy it

They just dealth with this issue on the Disney show That's So Raven. It is best just to be honest with the person. I'm sure you are not the only person to notice it and if everyone that is close to this person refuses to tell them some stranger might not be so nice about it and then he will be upset that no one was enough of a friend to let him know.

There is no easy way to tell them. If they haven't figured it out on their own, they not likely to realize it. You have to come right out and tell the person. Just make sure that you are alone and they know it is serious and not a joke. They might be a little mad at first, but soon they will be thanking you. Good luck

find a reason to present theme with a gift ,a thank you ,a birthday ,just thinking of you ,because you my friend ,and on the gift by anything that smells good for $8.00 you can get AXE comes with a body smell and deodorant.

Whenever they shower/ smell good, say, "Wow, you smell great!" It's all about positive reinforcement. Or, when in the company of a friend who smells decent, make a comment on how great that person smells, and the other friend might get the message.

Well I'm not as nice as you so I would just say "DANG!!! Buy some deoderant DANGIT!!!" but since you are a nice person say "Hey (Name) I was wondering have you seen that comercial for (Deoderant's name here) it was awesome, I bet that stuff really works".

i really don't know. i had the same prblem at my work and in gym there re some fat slobs who think they do not need to take shower. i was thinking if u go skiing high in mountains and air is so thin there u need this breathing device - looks like a hairspray with a mask. u put this mask over your face and breath oxygen. so i have been thinking to buying one and taking it with me and breathing through it when someone stinks. maybe they will take a hint and u don't need to say anything. i just don't know where u can get one
