What is the question?

Edit: No really, what is the question? Violence can be the only answer, such as "How do you open a child proof jar?"

no way....violence is not the end or the only way.in fact it is the starting point of the worsening of problem..there are many other ways to solve a problem other then violence...violence is the most violent thing and stopping violence will fetch many good results.....but there are some in fact only a few cases where violence can be the only answer....so we can find alternate ways for the solution for the probs wich could be solved without violence.

No, you can always accept being victimized... Carthage anyone?

Violence is the only answer when negotiation fails. For example:

Could we truly ever negotiate with Hitler? - no. Hitler was Hell bent on his Nietsche-esque view of social evolution in which he believed the Jews and Roma (Gypsies) were in need of being annihilated because they were too weak of an ethnic group in order to establish their own countries. Also his socialist plan in order to set all countries up under their own strongest leaders (such as Vicchi(sp?)).

Could we ever negotiate with Hirohito(Sp?)?- no. You can't make a logical argument to a nation who believed their emperor was a god and that they were the greatest race bent on raping Manchuria.

Could the North negotiate with the South?- No, unless you would like to have slavery.

Violence isn't the only answer, but sometimes it is the only TOLERABLE answer.

Look at the effects of what violence did for the 3 examples I gave you:

Germany is a democratic nation that just last year elected its first female leader (sorry I don't know what the official title is)

Japan is the Mecca of videogames, anime, compact electronics, expensive items with a lot of plastic packaging, and adorable people/things, not to mention #10 on the list of top economies.

The United States has for over 150 years been free of slavery and still united. We are currently working on resolving the racial issues stemming back 300+ years ago.

Please don't plead with me that violence has no place, unless you want to end up like Carthage.

Yes hoorah, only kidding. But that is how most of us feel but if we use our wisdom we know it is barbaric and really un-natural if there is a logical solution. I try to use comedy to nullify the anger, it works for me. But I would not suggest doing to the president of Iran. I think he you would have to duct tape and sit him front of Bugs Bunny shows for a very long time until he lightens up, ha ha, and that goes for every other stiff necked moron that believes violence gets their way. When we were kids there were bullies, and they did not lighten up until they got their butts kicked, most of the time. But then that is a man thing they thrive on fighting and strengthen themselves that way and yet there is the devious women that were children that were sneaky and cruel and hurt others, and the same goes for them. It is a rough and tough world today and cold and cruel, it is not to make things convuluted but in many cases violence will be the only answer because the majority of people are nasty and violent natured on their wrong side, very few people have the gift of humor, they are too serious, and too disloyal as well. In this world it is me me me and that is all that counts is me me me , and they will kill for their way. Seems they should have been someones abortion? And that is to be meant as the alternative to what they have done to this world and what they are going to do in the future unless we duct tape their mouths shut and tie them in a chair and turn on The Bugs Bunny Show,

Realize that it is an answer, though realize that it is not the only one. There is not a likely single realistic possibility to solving anything, and violence is only one of the many ways of solving a problem. However, it may not be the best one, and likely not the worst one.

Violence just escalates more violence. Its a vicious circle (aneye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth forever). The answer is being aware which leads to love unconditional.

to answer your question,

in fact, Violence was and is NEVER the answer.

Bear this in mind.

Whoever uses violence as a sadistic medication shall suffer deeply for eternity.

It depends.

If someone were to attack me - well, my chance of running away from the average man is pretty small. I'm afraid that for immediate, dire circumstances, my answer to violence is violence. (even though most criminals probably are stronger than me, they'd rather attack someone who won't fight back.)

Not very philosophical of me, is it?

Violence isn't an answer at all; it just escalates the problem.

Violence is the result of ignorance and fear. It often signifies evil, depravity and cruelty. It is seldom the answer to anything.
