Is it possible that mankind had more abilities with the powers of nature and instinct and that we were blessed with the magical powers of old? But now evolution with technology and all has made us into non-believers, reality worshippers, and less faith in everything. More monetary and material minded? Like maybe we were more primitive before and the balance of that was a gift of magic? After all none of us in the last 1000 thousand years have seen any miracles. Maybe it is all relative to Jesus as well. Maybe he needed to be born then because we were more primitive and G-D being all knowing and time wise knew we would be at a point that we are now inertia? The more we evolve and the more sophisticated as we get, is not passive or peace loving it is more lazy and more to the point selfish, and that we don't want anything to bother our dreams of life which is mostly monetary?

I think that your right about a lot of that.I think that the mind has amazing capabilities but people are not open minded enough or controlled enough to find it. It is said that we use only a small portion of our brains, imagine if we could use it all . If everyone were to be more at peace and spiritual rather than hate filled and materialistic, we could as a whole, control the universe. Also, you are wrong about the miracles. They happen everyday. However some are just small miracles, and go unnoticed as such

I like to think it exists, but everyone who can is just hiding out somewhere. :)

I don't believe in God however, but I do believe that miracles are made possible by the power of the mind. I think that's the most powerful thing on the planet.

No, I don't. While people can do amazing things that perhaps they didn't think they could do, one can't actually do magic. The same goes for miracles...it's just something we can't explain yet.
