Better Left Unsaid

words and music by William O. Richardson

You got to see it to believe it
Not many find it but if you seek it
It's kinda cool it's kinda mystic
Even a fool calls it simplistic

It's like a note sung by a choir
To a walker high on a wire
Tryin' his best to keep his balance
Above the wise man who took his talents
And multiplied them he made a bet
When it paid off he bought a net

And now the walker knows if he falls
His act is covered and that ain't all
He knows a secret he used to tell
No one believed him it's just as well
Some things are better left unsaid
Some things are better left unknown
Some things are better left unsaid

Remember Jesus he knew about it
Ask Martin Luther he didn't doubt it
The pope got angry and called him names
So Martin Luther he did the same
If you've got ears you'll never hear it
Don't try and find it you won't get near it
Some things are better left unsaid
Some things are better left undone
Some things are better left unknown

Thought I was finished I guess I'm not
'Cause there's a story that I forgot
About a rabbi in shabby clothes
Who had a number nobody knows
It was the name no one can utter
So draw the blinds and close the shutters
Can't hold it in I'm gonna say it
If there's a prayer you better pray it
Some things are better left unsaid
Some things are better left unknown
Some things are better left unsaid
Some things are better left alone
Some things are better left unsaid

If you want to have a healthy relationship you need to be honest, and yes that would be telling you bf that you cheated on him. If he truly loves you back then he would forgive you, but if you don't tell him then you will just live with that guilt and it will never go away. Sure if you tell him you guys might break up but then you would know he isn't the right guy for you because when you do find your true love he will love you for all of your mistakes no matter what

This is a complicated and fragile situation. I think that you should tell him regardless because he will find out eventually and he'll be even more hurt that you didn't tell him. Explain that it was at the beginning and that you were drunk and didn't even realise what had happened. He will be angry and I won't lie he'll be hurt but if he truly loves you he'll come around and your relationship will be stronger. You'll regret this if you don't do this; I think you already know that this is something you have to do. Good luck and God bless.

The guilt you have is on you if you can forget it and let it go do so. If not tell him and if he dosn't understand he was not for you. There will be a trust issue that you will have to overcome and don't ever think it will be easy for you, he's going to hurt that is for sure but if he loves you he will come around, but if not he was not ment to be, You have a distructive nature to yourself by doing something that woud destroy your happyness so be care you do keep doing this thinking you are not worth anything. love is a choice. Having a buzz is not an excuse would you forgive him if it were reversed?

it sound like you have a big decision that only you can make,
to have a healthy realtionship is about trust and honestly, and
if you dont have it, you dont have much of anything else. but
only you know your heart and what to do to heal it. but let
me say this honestly is the best policy, because you never
know what can happen down the road. if he find out by
someone else.
