Edward Norton Jr. he is a flawless actor who goes unnoticed by many. He has an incredible acting range. He has played a NeoNazi racist, crooked cop, mentally challenged, multiple personality schizo, con man, and a wimp to name a few. You really believe he is that character since he does such a convincing job. Too many actors now a days seem like the same character or always type casted because they are basically acting as themselves.

I can't agree with Tom Hanks. I love him, but he's just not that versatile. He just has such a nice guy look to him that when he isn't wonderfully nice, it isn't believable. However, (Forrest Gump tangent) I loooove Gary Sinise. No matter what, you believe him. If he's a good guy, troubled guy, angry, racist, whatever--he is believable. If he wants you to hate him, you will. If he wants you to forgive him, you will. I haven't seen his CSI show, so I can't tell you if he's any good in it. But his performances in Forrest Gump, Of Mice and Men, and George Wallace are amazing.
Other actors in the same vein are Kevin Spacey and Edward Norton. They are such chameleons! They really can play such a wide range of roles.

Lol...Paul Walker...what a joke. No, my favorite would have to be Denzel Washington. He has this presence that makes me like every movie that he's in. I don't know what it is about him, but he does such a good job portraying his character--it just seems like a natural fit and not a forced-on role. And, I must say, don't get mad, his face is not too bad to look at--perfectly symmetrical.
