It is normal for breasts to be tender during or around ovulation. It's the imbalance of the hormone changes that occur and it can cause your breasts to be very sore. Don't worry though, this is a normal occurance.

I have always had breast tenderness to a degree during ovulation all my life and I'm now 45. A couple of years ago I had the subcutaneous contraceptive put in place just under my skin on my upper/inner arm. I now get VERY sore breasts during ovulation. So sore sometimes, that taking my bra off causes me quite a bit of pain...but I'm presuming it's something to do with me getting older, or more so...something to do with the contraceptive, but it doesn't bother me unduly, so I put up with it.

If your looking for signs of ovulation you need to look south. check your cervical fluid if it is watery/stretchy kinda like eggwhites then you are green to go. check the site www.tcoyf.com you can try the software for 15 days but you have to do the work, checking temp cervical fluid and position. It'll give you as accurate of an idea you can have without daily u/s to watch your ovaries.
