there are ENDLESS kinds of mp3 players that can hold 9 gigs of music. Ipod holds the best media player so far - 80g video, but it is much more costly than any other brand. Microsoft has a newly released 30g video player called the Zune, and Creative has a 30g video Player called the Vision:M. If you are looking for strictly audio/mp3 player, i would suggest getting it from Creative because their hardware is reliable and their prices are reasonable.

9 gigs of music? How many songs do you have?!

I definately agree with the above answer... The Creative Vision: M knocks the socks off any ipod any day. Not only does it cost less but the sound quality and range is much higher. Also, the screen is capable of displaying thousands more colors so if you have any video/pictures they will look crisper. Plus, it has an FM tuner which I find my self using more often than I thought I would. The only downside (and this doesn't really effect me personally using it) it that it is thicker than an ipod...
