Because paes had some comments against mahesh.He was hurt by those negative comments.So they decided to split up

ya they were the best pair and the best we ever had but they are in competiton with each other now and the very essence of sportsmanship has escaped from their mind wen they have become stars

They got too good.....jealousy came into play.

It is too bad, as they were extremely fun to watch as a duo......but each is amazing doubles player.
