PrintScreen alone should do the trick. Open up Paint (or any other image editor) and go to Edit->Paste. It should work fine.

Press The Button "PRT SCR" (Beside The F12) Stands For Print Screen, This Will Capture The Whole Screen
To Capture A Selected Window ("Like A Browser Window") Click The Window Then You Want To Capture, Then Press ALT + PRT SCR, This Will Just Capture The Selected Window.
Then Goto Paint, Press CTRL + V, Or Paste From The Edit Menu.
Paint Can Be Found At.
Start, All Programs, Accessories, Paint

It is very simple. if you want to take a snapshot of your desktop, please close all applications that you are running or minimize all the applications window and then press "PrtSc" button. Go to Paint or any other image editing software and then Paste. You will get your desired result.
