ohh yes-it is very normal--it's called extra hormones--there really isnt anything you can do about it.
it happens and it happens to every woman differently, at different time and at different 'intensity'.
my hormones surged in the first trimester-settled in the second & now are back in my 3rd.
and just wait until your last month or so--you go from being totally ticked off-to crying at commercials ALLL day long, lol
you can try reading or laying down when you feel the emotions start to come out.
just laying down and reading a good book help me through a lot

I am not pregnant right now but I have had three children and it is very normal to have a roller coaster of emotions. One second you're the happiest ever, the next second you could be crying. It's just your hormones going crazy. I mean you can reassure yourself that everything is going to be okay but really you can't change your feelings about something...you just have to let it pass or maybe distract yourself by keeping busy when this feeling comes. I distract myself with music and cleaning....and believe me...when you're pregnant you will love to clean! lol I had an obsession with doing laundry during my 2nd pregnancy. Hey, it kept me busy and distracted from any bad feelings. It is VERY normal to be uncertain at a time like this..You're in shock. One of the most amazing things that could ever happen to a woman is going to take place soon for you. It's very surreal. I hope everything goes well and take care!

Have you read What to Expect When Expecting? Very informative book. It is VERY normal to have doubts and worry. Mood swings are also normal. I definitely get excited then worry that what if something happens and not to get so excited. I just try to tell myself that whatever happens happens and take one day at a time. Pregnancy can be very stressful so make sure you take time for yourself too! Good Luck!

I'm 22 weeks with my 3rd and I still get paranoid about things. Usually about a week before my next drs visit I start getting antsy. It's totally normal, but the thing that gets me through is the movement of the baby. When I feel her move, I know she's fine in there.
Congrats and good luck!! All will be fine!

You know what's wierd? I am 38 weeks along and still think that. I STILL can't imagine having another child around. I hate myself for thinking like that cuz I am sure everything will be fine but it's hard to imagine. When I was 17 weeks along I had a feeling like something bad was going to happen. So i prayed every night to get this thought out of my head. And its been a great pregnancy so far. Just can't wait to get him out! Good luck!

I experience that feelings too. My mom told me to think positive and always consult the doctor so that you're always updated what are the developments of the baby. You will enjoy that looking your baby in that monitor. Read some articles about pregnancy you will learn a lot. Always pray to God ask guidance to him. Enjoy it while the baby is in your womb. You can be a great mom to your baby because that's gods gift to you.

I just had my baby, and YES it is a BIG fear you carry the whole time, and it doesn't go away once the baby is here and you are looking at him/her you know that it is in fact real, but more to worry about. That just means that you are going to be a WONDERFUL mom, and you love that little one already..YAY !!!
