17 is very young to get married at,if you can't face your parents with this how are you going to handle a relationship? if your are truly in love it would not hurt to finish high school first.who going to feed you and keep a roof over your heads, being an adult means this and a whole lot more.better think about it,cause if your getting married and keeping it a secret then you may not be ready for marriage;hope you don't plan on living in different homes and that why you don't want anyone to know;that's the cowards way out, plus that using people.

Well you can legally marry on your free will at age 18, so just wait a few more months and then your parents will have no more say in this matter whatsoever, as long as your future husband has a source of money and has a house to live in with you and can take you in, so that you dont have to ask your parents for money. (Some states or countries allow marriage at an earlier age like 16, but 18 is the universal age everywhere for a person to become enfranchised/suffraged)

Take it from a guy who married young. I was too young, & I was 2 years older than you. Don't do it. Not yet at least. You have the rest of your life to find out if this person is the one you really want to marry. Talk to your parents. They love you, & only want what is best for you. If getting married right now is a really good thing for you to do then they will supoport it.

There is nowhere in the U.S. where a 17-year-old can get married without parental consent. At 18 you can marry.

OMG you're going to make the biggest mistake of your life if you do that. You don't want to get on your parents' bad side. After all they've done for you, you would just go out and get married without even telling them when you're still a teenager?! Marriage is a big deal. And to not even have your parents at your wedding? That's pretty sad. You're too young to be getting married too. Wait till you're done with college. ONE BIG THING AT A TIME, YOUNG LADY.

Why do you want to marry in the first place. Do you really believe that you'll be making a right decision, or you are just getting carried away - given your age?
You might just be in a moment's pleasure. Give yourself another 12 months and see whether you still feel the same!

getting married should be special and your parents should be part of it. don't rush anything, you are only 17 and you are too young for that. think about what's going to happen once you do get married, and it doesn't work out?? are you going to run to your parents for help? oh wait, your parents won't know about it....think before you act

.So you're that stu*pid and underage. I guess it was the sex. Hope you manage to finish school, young naive child.
I bet you want to have lots of babies and live in a trailer furnished with refurbished plywood.
It sad you have no dreams and aspiration only to get knocked up after finding a state that will honor your request.
Try Wyoming.

If you are afraid to tell your parents, it is a pretty safe bet that marriage will frighten you to death... It's no picnic, even for adults. Wait until you can do it without permission... then tour Europe first ;-)
