The farthest I ever swam in an olympic pool was 128 laps (2 miles), but I could have done more (and have in the ocean). That has been a few years ago, but I am sure that I can do at least 32 now. I can swim forever but I am a little slow. I love to swim, but I moved to an area 2 years ago where the closest pool is 40 minutes away 8(

Well I used to swim the 500 ( 20 laps ) in a relatively short amount of time. This was some 18 years ago when I was 16 and in High School and on the Swim Team.
Could I do it at 34?
Hrmm...a challenge for the new year.
