my cricket 2005 game doesnt work.why?

on starting the game..a black screen comes up and then the windows screen reappears..all the min requirements are satisfied..then why doesnt it work..for another game..turtle bay .. which i used to play earlier..even that isnt working...it says ur comp is too slow or ur problem with ur graphics driver...i tried formatting and reinstalling os also.. but still the problem persists..what may be the soln?.

You should update your graphics drivers and your Direct X, an old version of direct X can cause a lot of problems with games.
