If James made it out that way, it should go to the son he claimed as his. It is only mean to say they need a praternity test. If James felt love for the boy enough to call him his son, and had all his faculties, then let the little fella have what his daddy left him. BUT I think they should make someone OTHER THAN the mother his payee. Someone less connected to the boy would be far less likely to take advantage of him, especially a good Holywood attorney.

The only thing that will surely take place is a tremendously large time consuming heartless battle in probate court, and yes without a doubt with the right legal staff, and social services agency can speak on behalf of the mother/JB wife/child and produce media attention, question JB reputation which his immediate family would not want to defame their father's name, so all in all postive results will exist yet the "child's best interest is at hand" clearly child welfare laws define this in every state, go on your state legislature site, go to probate and you will pull up some laws,

Who can Say why James Brown did anything? Although a great singer his personal life was not what one can call exemplary. I personally think this is sad and JB should have provided for his son but he was not the kind of man I would want for a Father. Just because one is physically capable of being a father does not mean one is morally capable, maybe JB falls into this category?

I would assume that Mr. Brown's companion, the mother of this little boy, would have contacted a lawyer already. It's just too bad thet this is probably going to get ugly because of an oversight- a serious oversight, granted, but gee, practically no one has all their ducks in a row as far as being "ready" to die.

Get him in contact with some "particular" help. What I advise is, make sound such as you surely need him to get the diapers, or bottle, or in spite of. Play with him on a similar time. infants regress at this age, and are disappointed that they do no longer look to be the toddler anymore, you're able to be able to even seize him with their bottles or binkies, and it is may well be a area of regressing. teach him how plenty exciting it is to be the "massive" brother. whilst the two are drowsing, do something particular, in spite of he needs (in all equity of direction), like make cookies mutually or decide for a 10 minute walk and communicate, take him to a park for somewhat-- purely you and him. There has have been given to be some Mommy and me time as properly as Daddy and me time. This facilitates to augment that he isn't any longer being replaced, that's what he thinks on the 2d. it is going to take doing this for a pair of weeks till now you spot a transformation, yet proceed this, he would be greater receptive to the beginners, in his recommendations the "invaders" almost immediately.

I don't believe so.
Unfortunately most people do not like to think they are going to die tommorrow so many kids are not covered by wills at all and could become wards of the state.

I don't think so. But if his older children have an ounce of integrity then maybe they will start a trust fund for him.

I think it's terrible. I hope he didn't do this on purpose. Maybe he just never amended his will. The courts will see in his favor eventually.

He didn't know that he was going to die so anything could have happened. Didn't plan on leaving this.
