How to live alone because when I first did I didn't like it.
That some people are just cruel no matter what.
Horrible things happen to good people who didn't do anything to deserve them.
God takes the great ones.
Love may not be in my future.
To take a helping hand when I need it.
That my biological parents didn't want me because I was born a girl.
I learned a lot of hard things these are just a few, but I wake up everyday and smile because I love my life!!!

That life isn't fair and what made it worse, I had to watch my daughter learn the same lesson. It is not how much you know, how hard you study, what a caring person you are, how much time you donate, how loving you are to others, how dependable and honest you are, it is about WHO you know-- WHO can buy you into the better school, or take your place because of who they know even though they got 900 in their SAT's, how the best jobs in life are handed to them on silver platters and if you have ANY DOUBT of this, just look who is our President... with his long list of being a C student, couldn't, wouldn't, shouldn't serve our Country, and has the empathy, and morals of a traveling salesman. He sold this country out -- in fact, right now he is literally selling our highways to foreign countries!!! Living through this era is the hardest endeavor any American will ever have to do.

The fact that some people are so mean to others just to take a shortcut in life and avoid doing what they should be doing to get where they want to be.

I can't narrow it down to one with any certainty. Here's some that are top drawer.
-Death is the end of my consciousness. How disappointing!
-Some things, even though I think I should be able to, I will never understand.
-Some things, even though I think they should be able to, most people will never understand.
-Six years of premarital living together, and five years of happy marriage, and I was wrong to think that we would grow old and be happy together til the end of our days.
-My subconscious is in control, and I am woefully unaware.
-The more you love, the more you hurt.
