My husband was offered a new job, he was informed by phone about this job opportunity. My husband gladly accepted this job position. Now we were wondering, is there any need of sending an acceptance letter. If so, should it go out right away, before applying officially for the job? Any experiences are appreciated it! thanks.

I'm a bit confused.

Normally, a written offer from the company follows the verbal offer. You don't do anything. They will have the terms, pay, benefits, etc written down - and usually you have about 7 days to review it. Your husband doesn't write anything, just read over the formal offer letter - sign and return.

If you aren't sure, he can call this company and ask if they will be doing a written offer and if so, when can he expect to receive it. (Normally it is rush delivered.)

Hope that helps & congratulations!
