I heard a news interview with him when the remake of "The Longest Yard" came out. It was one of those red carpet interviews. The reporter asked Burt Reynolds what he thought of the remake compared to the original. Burt, having starred in the original, asked the reporter if he had seen it. When the reporter answered "no", Burt slapped him real hard.

My feeling is that Burt has some problems, not the least of which is getting old. He is bitter.

I swear he is. I mean, I don't personally know him, but from how he acts in interviews & just his demeanor says it all. He does get a lot of comments that he is sweet.
