You could help yourself, the animals and the planet by going vegetarian. That way you feel better mentally, physically and spiritually!

Could be depression because you feel alone, grew up alone and know that you have a hard time connecting thus the indifference towards life at times. It's like it is so hard that you put yourself in the "I don't care" mode.
You sound sad and that's not good. You may have to force yourself to let those people in who are trying to reach you. I know because I've been there and I have built huge walls and I am very afraid that I will live the rest of my life alone because I don't trust.
The conundrum is that I love my "freedom" to do as I please but then sometimes it would be nice to have a shoulder to lean on or to have someone around who cares enough about me to validate my existence on this earth. I know God loves me but we also need "helpers". And, it sure would help if I fall and can't get up.
I wish you the best in resolving your feelings.

In order to believe TRULY IN GOD, you must sometimes give up the temporary and damaging joys of the flesh, GOD has joy and fullfillment for you if only you trust your lifestyle and happiness to him. GOD doesn't need any foul weather friends, who only come to him when they need something, and only worship him when they get what they want. On the "women" part, GOD has A WOMAN for you who was created specially for you, and you for her. If you want a really good time and true fullfillment, try going on a mission trip (I suggest Global Expeditions, as an adult you could go as a group leader). As a 15 year old who loves lazy days and sleeping in, the highlight of my life was going to New York, getting up at 5 every morning for 2 weeks and sleeping on a concrete floor. I was there on a mission trip and saw all of the results of "getting all the fullfilment life offers" people, my heart still cries for each and every one of them. I often feel alone, but i know exactly how to deal with it, I lay it before GOD, and the peace that passes all understanding and the oil of gladness washes over me.

I feel the same way as you alot. I have a life that I am very thankful for. I am 25 and married. I love my husband and 3 young sons. I have my brothers and sister and my parents. I believe in God and go to church w/ my family. There's so many things that I have wanted in life and have gotten and it's like I'm never content and happy. I feel like I always need to do something. I've had 3 children in 3 yrs and now I feel like Okay maybe getting a puppy will make me happy....or remodeling a room, or getting a new car etc etc.....it's like I'm never satisfied...It's not that I'm greedy and need diamonds...and many luxuries...it's like I need something new or whatever to make me happy or something to look forward to. I appreciate my life but Idon't know why I can't just appreciate it the way it is....I have to always improve something....I feel like nothing's ever going to be "just right" I don't necessarily feel alone but I know what you mean about not connecting. I've really had a hard time connecting with my friends....I've kind of just dropped them. I used to be very close and I don't even know how to connect with my husband on the level I'd like. Have you ever been in a long term relationship? Maybe you need love...? I don't know ..it's hard to say. I know my husband and children are definitely what keeps me going.....Good luck

I COMPLETELY understand what you're saying. I always feel alone, though I'm surrounded by so many people that love me. I almost, sometimes, feel disconnected from life itself. I believe in God, but most of the time feel disconnected from him as well. I believe that it is a psychological thing, and really do not have an answer for you, just wanted you to know that I feel you. You're not the only one out there . Take care sweetie!

You have to find meaning in your life. Having a good time gives you pleasure for the moment, but it doesn't last. We all have to have a purpose in life. Find yours and I know you won't feel so alone anymore. You have a family and they love you. Some people have no one in this world. Be grateful for your blessings.
