All of my old friends are going to be there. I haven't seen some of them in like two years, so I want to look nice. It is going to be an outside BBQ. It is January but in south Texas it doesnt usually get that cold. I would prefer to wear jeans. thanks.

For a BBQ, I'd say definitely the jeans, way cute! A sweeeeet snug-fitting tee and a fitted hip length blazer in a casual fabric like corduroy! Confident yet sexy!

This is what I would do...
I would wear dark skinny jeans, a cream colored camisole, a polo shirt that's sleeve is 3/4 length (maybe in burgundy), a brown belt, and some cream colored flats to complete the look.
In case you don't have any of these things and you are willing to spend some money, here are the places you can get these items. The jeans you can get at American Eagle--the dark wash in the straight 77 fit. I own a pair and I wear them all the time. The cami you can get at AE as well. The polo I would get at Hollister, they have some great polos there. The belt you can get at AE for cheap if it's on sale. And finally the shoes you can get at the local shoe store in your mall or a big department store.

I would do a cute short dress, even over jeans...bring a cute shrug if you think you might get cold...this is a really cute look and the short dress as top makes a sexy but not s l u t t y impression...
I included a link for a really cute crocheted dress that would be so cute over jeans...I would worry about BBQ sauce though...lol

Your best-fitting jeans, a polo or a shirt that has buttons that go halfway (like a polo with no collar) and the sleeves go to your elbow. here's something kinda like what I'm talking about, but I like them better with a V-neck>>

Since you're outside, you need comfortable shoes. I would wear my chucks, but that's just me.
If you want to impress people, do your hair fairly nice. Nothing over-the-top, but something you would do for school, like straight down.

wearing jeans is a good idea! and wear a really nice shirt which is sparkely and/or looks really expenisve! So its like casual with out-going. Wear some accessories that make you look really nice, and which goes with your colour or design of your shirt.
